Sleep Apnea Treatment Options

The dental practice of Dr. John Carson offers numerous treatment options for sufferers of sleep apnea, and we are happy to work with your insurance provider to ensure you receive the treatment you need.

Oral Appliances

We can easily and painlessly manipulate the lower jaw to prevent the soft palate from blocking the airway. Our oral appliances are fitted over the teeth to gently pull the jaw forward so the airway is kept open while you sleep.

Radiology

Our office offers comprehensive radiology services that can allow our team to easily and accurately visualize the airway, sinuses, and jaws so we can determine the best treatment option for you.

CPAP

CPAP stands for “continuous positive airway pressure” and is a machine that is used for the treatment of sleep apnea. CPAP machines prevent the effects of sleep apnea by continually pushing air into your airways, keeping them open. We are happy to work with your insurance company to help you get funding for a CPAP machine if one is required.
